Franschhoek E-Bike Wine Tour

There’s no better way to experience Franschhoek than on an e-bike; it’s now even more enjoyable and accessible and fun for everyone. Explore the Franschhoek Valley and soak up the scenery at your own pace, while the pedal assist makes the ride effortless and fun.

We meet at Franschhoek Rent A Bicycle/Louer un Vèlo, where your guide will set you up with your e-bike, adjust your seat post, hand out helmets, and give you a quick orientation so you feel comfortable before setting off.

From there, your adventure begins as we cycle through breathtaking scenery, avoiding the main roads and sticking to quieter paths and farm tracks. Along the way, you’ll stop at carefully selected wine estates where you can enjoy tastings, coffee, or even sushi:

• Grande Provence – choose between a wine tasting or a coffee break.

• Glenwood – tucked away off the beaten track, Glenwood also has a sushi bar if you’d like a snack.

• Depending on the group, we may also stop at Leeu Estate, Country Kitchen, or Leopard’s Leap – all conveniently along the route. These options are often decided together with the guests on the day.

You’ll have time to take photos as we admire Franschhoek and the surrounding mountains from different angles. The route also winds through vineyards and farms, with your guide sharing insights about the valley’s rich culture and winemaking history.
