E-Bike & Waterfall Experience

Experience Stellenbosch in a unique and adventurous way with our e-bike and waterfall hike. Embark on your adventure from the picturesque Lanzerac Wine Farm, cycling through the beautiful Stellenbosch countryside before reaching the stunning Jonkershoek Nature Reserve.

Jonkershoek is known for its natural beauty and world-class trails where tourists from across the world will come and ride. Jonkershoek also boasts some of the best hiking trails in the region, ranging from beginner hikes to overnight hikes. We will be doing one of the more popular routes that goes to the first waterfall; the route is about a 3 km (1.86 miles) hike to where a small traditional picnic will be prepared.

This tour is perfect for couples or families that are looking for something different than your usual wine tour or city sightseeing. The peaceful surroundings and stunning views of the waterfall make for a memorable and relaxing experience in nature.

What to Expect

Meet up at Lanzerac Wine Farm

Meet your Guide at our Starting Point, and a small information session will follow.
Starting E-Bike Ride

Stunning views, of the views of the Stellenbosch/Jonkershoek on the way to the Nature reserve. Where the off-road route through the mountainous terrain begins.
Hike Starts

After the E-Bike ride we will lock up the bikes and make our way to the Start of the Waterfall hike.
Picnic is Provided

When we arrive at the Waterfall a small Picnic will be repaired with some traditional South African Snacks. And time to cool of and relax.
Make our way back to the Bikes

After the Picnic has concluded we work our way back to the bikes and taking in the some of the beauty the landscape has to provide.

Taking in the Last of the Jonkershoek Nature reserve and Stellenbosch Countryside
Back at Base

When we arrive back at base we will collect all the safety equipment. And say our final goodbyes.
